Separate, experimental predictive forecastsFRAMEWORK & LIMITS
European rules distinguish the Open, Specific and Certified categories according to operational risk. The commercial nature of a mission alone therefore does not determine its category.
In Belgium, the Belgian CAA’s Drone Portal handles operator procedures, declarations and authorisation requests. DroneLog stores your references and records; it does not submit applications to the Belgian CAA or automatically check whether a flight falls within the scope of a Specific authorisation.

No. The Drone Portal remains the official service for procedures with the Belgian CAA. Airspace access conditions and authorisations must be checked with the competent services. DroneLog organises your activity data and documents.
The frameworks remain distinct. DroneLog does not present the quarterly counters specific to the public framework as a general obligation for your company. Work on behalf of a public service requires reviewing the conditions applicable to that mission.
No. The prototype stores the declared framework and its references, dates and stated scope. It does not automatically validate whether each flight falls within the authorised scope.
No. Indicators calculated from logs and predictive analyses are two separate features. Forecasts remain experimental; manufacturer instructions and your own checks remain essential.
